Hi, I’m Jessie

I’m the designer behind JW Design, a boutique interior design studio based in
Des Moines, Iowa.

For more than eight years, I’ve helped homeowners create spaces that feel warm, thoughtful, and deeply personal. My work is rooted in timeless modern design, natural materials, and the belief that a well-designed home should feel as effortless to live in as it is beautiful to look at.

Over the years, I’ve designed hundreds of homes for clients across the country, guiding everything from new construction and renovations to thoughtfully finished spaces. Every project begins the same way…by understanding how you live and creating a home that supports it for years to come.

Outside of design, you’ll usually find me baking something from scratch, experimenting with Asian-inspired recipes, or planning my next trip. I spent time living in New Zealand, an experience that deepened my appreciation for simple living, natural landscapes, and thoughtful design that feels connected to its surroundings.

Today, I live in a cozy townhome with my husband, where I love cooking a great meal, making a gin cocktail, and finding inspiration in the everyday moments that remind me why home is the whole point.
